Dubai, UAE – June 3, 2026 – A new release of Local Trade Copier for MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) aims to give forex traders greater control over how copied trades are executed, managed, and synchronized across multiple trading accounts.

Released by Rimantas Petrauskas, Local Trade Copier Version 3.0.0 introduces a collection of features focused on execution flexibility, trade protection, and compatibility with proprietary trading firm environments. The update also marks a structural change for the software, with both MT4 and MT5 editions now sharing the same version number to simplify future updates and support.

As prop firm participation continues to grow within the retail forex trading industry, traders increasingly face requirements related to risk management, execution behavior, and account compliance. Many traders operate both personal and funded accounts simultaneously and rely on trade copier software to maintain synchronization between them.

One of the most significant additions in Version 3.0.0 is a new Manual-Like Execution Mode. The feature allows copied trades to be opened through the MetaTrader trading window so that positions appear as manually placed trades rather than trades marked as “placed by expert.”

The feature can also apply Stop Loss and Take Profit values during trade entry. In situations where brokers restrict automated trade management, traders may continue managing exits manually while maintaining manual-style trade placement.

“Many traders requested additional flexibility regarding how copied trades appear and behave after execution,” said Rimantas Petrauskas, founder of Local Trade Copier. “The objective was to provide more control while preserving the reliability required for account synchronization.”

Version 3.0.0 also introduces several tools designed to create natural variations between master and client accounts.

The new Random Trade Entry Delay system can apply a randomized delay before opening copied positions. A corresponding Random Trade Close Delay feature performs the same function when positions are closed. Additionally, a new Stop Loss and Take Profit copy mode can randomly increase SL and TP distances by a configurable number of points.

Together, these features can result in different entry times, entry prices, Stop Loss values, Take Profit values, exit times, and exit prices across synchronized accounts. While the underlying trading strategy remains unchanged, the execution characteristics of copied trades can become less identical to those of the master account.

When combined with Manual-Like Execution Mode, copied trades may not only behave differently but can also appear as manually placed positions inside MetaTrader.

Another major addition is the new Trade Protection Requirement feature.

This functionality allows traders to require copied trades to already contain a Stop Loss, Take Profit, or both before Local Trade Copier is permitted to copy them.

The feature addresses two common challenges. First, it provides protection against human error. Even traders copying their own trades can occasionally forget to place a Stop Loss on the master account. By refusing to copy unprotected positions, Local Trade Copier helps prevent that mistake from being duplicated across multiple accounts.

Second, many proprietary trading firms require positions to be protected with a Stop Loss from the moment they are opened. Failure to comply with such rules can result in violations or even loss of a funded account. The new requirement helps traders enforce consistent risk management across synchronized accounts.

Version 3.0.0 also delivers several technical improvements intended to improve compatibility and simplify configuration.

The release resolves the MT5 Error 4756 issue that previously prevented trade copying on some MT5 brokers. Trading session detection has also been improved on MT5, helping eliminate situations where instruments incorrectly appeared unavailable for trading.

In addition, Local Trade Copier has migrated from pip-based calculations to a fully points-based configuration system. The change removes the need for custom pip conversion settings and allows traders to use the same values displayed directly within MT4 and MT5.

“The latest release focuses on practical challenges reported by active users,” Petrauskas added. “Several of the new features were developed directly in response to requests from traders managing both prop firm and personal trading accounts.”

Key features introduced in Local Trade Copier 3.0.0 include:

  • Manual-Like Execution Mode
    • Random Trade Entry Delays
    • Random Trade Close Delays
    • Trade Protection Requirement
    • MT5 Error 4756 Compatibility Fix
    • Improved MT5 Trading Session Detection
    • Points-Based Configuration System
    • Randomized Stop Loss and Take Profit Adjustments

Local Trade Copier is used worldwide by forex traders, proprietary trading firm participants, signal providers, money managers, and algorithmic traders who need to synchronize trades across multiple MetaTrader accounts.
